This is one of DR Horton Hawaii's newest floor plans in the Ho'opili master-planned community in Ewa Beach, and honestly it's one of our favorites for the price point.

What Is the Ahakea Gen2B?

The Gen2B (Plan 016B) is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom detached home at 919 square feet across two stories. These are brand new builds starting from $744,700 in the Ahakea neighborhood within Ho'opili.

Even though it's under 1,000 square feet on paper, the open floor plan makes it feel much bigger than you'd expect.

Main Level Layout

When you walk in, the living room flows directly into the dining area and kitchen — no wasted hallway space. The kitchen comes with stainless steel appliances (range, micro-hood, dishwasher, and refrigerator), quartz countertops, white soft-close cabinets, and bar-height seating.

The primary bedroom is also on the main level, which is a huge plus. It has its own en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and closet.

You also get a fully fenced private backyard and two parking stalls.

Upstairs Layout

The second floor has two secondary bedrooms, a full bathroom with dual vanities and a shower-tub combo, and a bonus room that works as an office, playroom, or guest space.

The washer/dryer hookup is also upstairs with the bedrooms — no hauling laundry up and down stairs.
