Parks Near Keali'i

Ewa Beach Park

This is the go-to park for many Keali'i families. It's got open green space, a playground, and picnic areas that are perfect for weekend barbecues. Austin has brought his kids here on more than a few occasions, and it never disappoints.

  • Location: 91-955 North Road, Ewa Beach
  • Best for: Family gatherings, kids' play, casual sports

Geiger Community Park

Geiger Park is one of the larger recreational areas near Keali'i. It offers baseball and softball fields, a community center, and plenty of space to spread out. We've seen youth sports leagues here on weekends — it really brings the community together.

  • Best for: Organized sports, community events, walking/jogging

Ocean Pointe Community Park

Just a short drive from Keali'i, Ocean Pointe's park is one of the newer facilities in the area. The playground equipment is modern, and there's a nice walking path that loops around the park. Kristy loves recommending this one to families with younger kids.

Beaches Near Keali'i

Ewa Beach (One'ula Beach Park)

The beach that gives the neighborhood its name is just minutes from Keali'i. It's not the postcard-perfect Waikiki beach, but that's actually what we love about it — it's local, uncrowded, and perfect for sunset walks. We've taken our shoes off here after many a long showing day.

  • Features: Sandy shoreline, tide pools, picnic area, parking
  • Best for: Sunset watching, fishing, low-key beach days

White Plains Beach

A bit further out near Kalaeloa, White Plains is a hidden gem. The surf is beginner-friendly, the sand is beautiful, and it's rarely packed. Military families from Keali'i often have access through base proximity, but it's open to the public too.

  • Features: Surfing, bodyboarding, lifeguards, showers, restrooms
  • Best for: Swimming, beginner surfing, family beach days

Community Centers & Programs

Ewa Beach has several community centers offering programs for all ages:

  • Kapolei Regional Park — A short drive away with athletic fields, aquatic center, and event spaces
